
VX 2012 – The
Ultimate Vehicle Rescue Experience
Ultimate Vehicle Rescue 1-day classroom (Recommended for
all First Responders)
Cost -$150.
This course is designed to prepare you for 2012 and beyond. New Steels, New
Designs, Alternative Fuels, Advance Restraint Systems, High Voltages and High
Pressure Devices are all covered in detail. You will also learn the newest
techniques and procedures required to safely and efficiently extricate patients
from these stronger, more hi-tech vehicles.
This course is in a
“Train-the-Trainer” format,
and attendees will receive all of the training materials on DVD so they can be
shared with others after class. Attendees will also receive access to our
Instructor Resources on line, which will allow them to download all of our
current and future programs, at no additional cost.
VX 2012 Level 1 – 1-day Hands-On (Recommended for Fire, Police, and EMS)
Cost -
$100.
This course is designed to give you the hands-on skills needed to
identify hazards, use equipment and apply techniques to support and participate
in the rescue. Stabilization and Lifting, Identification and Use of Hand Tools,
along with Rapid Extrication techniques will be covered, with Patient care and
scene safety as the primary objectives.
VX 2012 Level 2 – 1-day Hands-on (Recommended for Rescue Personnel)
Cost - $100.This course is designed to give you the hands-on
skills needed to use Hydraulic Tools and Equipment to perform advanced
extrication techniques on late model vehicles. This course will focus on
coordinating, performing, and supervising complex extrications on vehicles with
advanced electronics and ultra-high strength steels.
VX 2012 Heavy Rescue – 1-day Hands-on (Recommended for
all Heavy Rescue Personnel)
Cost - $200.
This course is designed to give you the hands-on skills needed to extricate
victims from Large Trucks and Busses. This course will focus on the design and
construction of large vehicles, and the techniques and procedures required to
extricated trapped victims. Working with Heavy Wreckers and handling alternative
fuels and high voltages will also be covered in detail.

2012 Update -
Classroom and Hands-on
(Recommended for all First Responders)
Cost - $100.
This course is designed to provide you with all of
the updates and changes made to 2012 and newer vehicles. The first half of the
day will discuss new restraint systems, construction methods and materials,
along with updates and advancements in Hybrid and Electric vehicles. The second
half of the day will be spent practicing the new procedures required to mitigate
hazards and extricate trapped patients from these new vehicles.
